Opel’s new midsize car! Intended as a “stopgap” and positioned between the Kadett and the Rekord, this midsize model quickly established itself on the market and achieved incredible sales figures and, above all, impressive driving performance. The Manta A was once the Ford Capri’s biggest competitor, but thanks to the Manta’s cult status, the Cologne-built car was quickly overtaken by the Rüsselsheim-built coupe.
