GT
The Opel GT is the Opel GT. People also call it the “little Corvette.” Based on the Kadett B, this sports coupe—which is still absolutely sleek today—was created in the ’60s with no regard for practicality. No, the Opel GT has nothing to do with rationality or German bourgeois narrow-mindedness; anyone who owns a GT has a sports car sitting in their garage! A visual rocket—and sometimes a fast one, too. It came standard with the fuel-efficient 1.1-liter OHV engine or the snappier 1.9S Cih engine with 90 PS. Today, quite a few of these classic cars are on the road with 200 PS or more. And rightly so!
