Repair kit 'special' gearstick Ascona 400 / Getrag 240 & 265
Does your Getrag transmission only allow you to imprecisely change gear and rattles around when you do? This complete repair kit will put a stop to that!
The important spherical bearing, along with the corresponding damper - seal ring and the two needle-bearings in the lower eye of the gearstick including the two O-rings (beside it on the outside) allow for a more exact and peaceful gear-shift!
Here in the 'professional design' with a metal spherical bearing instead of the plastic variety, as was originally installed in the Ascona 400 Getrag 265. You can also install this bearing in the 'normal' bearing-, or gear lever jack, however for this job you will require advanced mechanical knowledge, as this bearing needs to be extra secured here, with a headless screw for instance. - Here is a list of the individual parts:
- Spherical bearing metal design with PTFE glide surface gear lever guide (maintenance free)
- Seal ring under spherical bearing
- 2 needle bearings lower eye gear lever (lubricate well before installation!)
- 2 O-rings on the outside of each needle bearing
This kit is comprised of Opel original parts, excluding the spherical bearing! -
