Precisely speaking, this paper seal is called 'seal intake manifold on oil pump'. This term is however a little bit misleading, as the oil intake manifold is attached underneath to the engine block via this seal, and not on the oil pump... Be that as it may, as you already know, without this seal it simply doesn't suck properly! And that's important. Yet again, another small, but mighty, edelschmiede reproduction :-)
