This crafty tool is a small 6-cornered handyman! In order to get to the oil funnel screw in the Getrag 240 & 265 5-speed transmission of our Opel rear-wheel drives, we need to have acrobatic talents! Its not uncommon that the space is so tight in the tunnel, that the classic 17mm angle spanner doesn't fit. Moreover, this doesn't belong in the normal hobby garage. The 'edelschmiede 6-edge' now fills this gap in mechanic work! Whether stuck on the normal 17mm nut, or gripped onto the jaw-spanner or ring wrench, the oil drain or funnel screw can no longer protect itself from being unscrewed! As it should be!
This tool has been specially made for edelschmiede and is produced with a noble and rustfree exterior, very 'edelschmiede like' :-) This nitrified and then oxidised tool shouldn't be missing from any toolbox!
