This thermostat insert fits all Opel 4-cyl. & 6-cyl. Cih carburetor engines, even if they are equipped with Weber, Solex, or other twin carburetors. This is a “cold” thermostat—a so-called “tropical thermostat”—with an opening temperature of 75°C, designed for very hot engines. :-)
The package includes the following:
In the edelschmiede shop, you’ll find a wide variety of thermostat kits for all Opel Cih and 24V engines. From 75°C, 80°C, and 87°C up to a 92°C opening temperature, there’s something for every engine. Of course, these aren’t just for carburetor engines—there are suitable parts for fuel-injected engines as well!
Behr was acquired by Mahle in 2013 and remains, of course, the top choice when it comes to thermostats—quality is second to none!
