Happy New Year from the edelschmiede

edelschmiede_oldtimer_markt

Yes, we have arrived safe and well in the year two-thousand-and-fourteen. The eve itself was celebrated quietly with family and neighbours, but now things are ready to continue blow upon blow at the edelschmiede! The web – shophas been well-received and many of our regular customers are pleased that we finally have our own interface and they are spared from dealing with eBay. Many newer customers are wondering why they hadn’t discovered us earlier, particularly after reading the article ’Spitzen-Ritzel ‘(click here for the .pdf in German) in the ‘Oldtimer Markt’ on the topic of our new blue speedometer gears. Many thanks to Florian Schwaab, a writer for the ‘Oldtimer Markt’ who is just as enthused by Opel rear-wheel-drives. I can hardly bring myself to say it, but the current edition is also worth a look from us all; Not only is there an article about the exciting salvage of a long-forgotten Ascona 400, no, this edition spoils us with another article about the Lotus Omega. Attention please from the ‘Oldtimer Markt’: soon I will need to start receiving a ‘commission’ from you, this has gone way beyond the occasional ‘shout-out’ now 😉

Due to the excellent order situation, new products are able to find their way into the shop almost daily, nevertheless not all parts are online at the moment, sorry for the delay! We’re working on it…

On that note, I’ll say my goodbyes with the (computer) mouse, rather than the spanner

Thomas
