The current aftermarket no longer offered any suitable release bearings for our old rear-wheel-drive cars. That’s about to change with our new metal release bearing. This truly outstanding replacement part fits all Cih & OHC clutches that require a spherical release bearing—meaning they have a flat surface on the pressure plate. It doesn’t matter whether the clutch measures 8 inches, 8.5 inches, 9 inches, or even 9.5 inches.
By the way, this bearing pairs perfectly with our cast-iron release lever!
