These two parts go together! If you want to replace the front oil seal on the Getrag 265 transmission, you’ll also need to remove the bearing shield, so this set makes perfect sense!
By the way, the oil seal is an exceptionally high-quality part with an extra dust protection lip and even the crucial spiral groove on the sealing surface. This means it matches the Opel genuine part exactly—which is sometimes still available for exorbitant prices. The oil seal offered here is, of course, from current production and is therefore brand new. The gasket is, of course, brand new as well :-)
