Kadett B / Olympia A
Starting in the autumn of 1965, Opel advertised this compact car with the words “Opel Kadett. Das Auto.”. The Kadett B & Olympia A were a real winning pair, selling almost 3 million models by summer 1973. The developers certainly didn’t skimp on options, with a choice between the limousine, various coupés or the caravan, with two or more doors, mainly with a 1.1L OHV engine. Even the two in-house Opel tuners, Steinmetz and irmscher, had B-Kadetts in their workshops and created attractive accessories with which to style the engine and body, now sought-after rarities.
