This silver tool is yet another real gem and, above all, a simple solution for our 4- and 6-cylinder CIH engines in the Opel Manta, Ascona, Kadett, and others. After removing the rocker arm and the tappet, you can place this tool directly on top of the cylinder head and tighten it using the rocker arm bolt (be sure to install the ball joint as well!). This automatically releases the two valve wedges, which you can then remove easily and without any trouble :-) As the saying goes: Install in reverse order...
In addition to the tool itself, the package also includes a matching nut that fits the rocker arm bolt. — This is yet another indispensable tool for your home toolbox, made by edelschmiede.
We also have a matching air tool adapter so you can perform this task with the cylinder head still installed!
