This shaft seal is installed at the transmission output end connected to the driveshaft of the popular ZF 5-speed transmission, which was originally found primarily in the Opel Kadett C. As mentioned above, the part offered here is designed to seal the driveshaft flange and is referred to in original Opel terminology as the “shaft seal, transmission housing end piece.”
This oil seal is a high-quality part featuring an extra dust protection lip and even the important spiral groove on the sealing surface. It thus corresponds exactly to the original Opel part, which is still available in some cases for exorbitant prices. The oil seal offered here is, of course, from current production and is therefore brand new.
