Mathe Classic engine oil supplement, THE additive for all Opel rear-wheel drive engines
Mathe Classic engine oil supplement has been specially developed for vintage and young engines, for an optimal bridgeover between long periods of downtime. Through the addition of Mathe Classic engine oil supplement to the engine oil, you will greatly increase the operational reliability of both vintage and younger engines, and a long-term protection for your machine guaranteed. The active agents are especially adapted for engines from vintage Opels from between 1950 - 1990.
Mathe Classic engine oil supplement is free from solids and usable in all engine oils with a viscosity class of SAE 30 to 40.

Dose:
For normal use: 10% Mathe Classic engine oil supplement to the engine oil by normal workloads. For higher workloads: 20% Mathe Classic engine oil supplement to the engine oil by above average stresses (e.g. high stress under racing conditions). By problematic cases in the engine (e.g. strong rattling noises, fitful engine run, bad starting performance, loss of compression) 25% Mathe Classic engine oil supplement to the engine oil for strong vibrations and excessive engine noise.
Use
In vintage engines, that display more than 20,000km mileage, a cleaning phase should first be carried out. Drain 10% of the full amount of the old oil out and refill with the same amount of Mathe Classic engine oil supplement. After 500 - 700km, change the old oil, when possible in a warm condition. After draining, refill the engine with a mixture ratio of at least 10% Mathe Classic engine oil supplement and 90% engine oil according to the manufacturing guidelines.
